From 2020, most Bloooms products will not be finished with
one layer of oil but with two despite the fact that Mono coat
represents just one layer.
During testing, we found that an extra layer of the
the same brand has positive effects or the appearance as well as protection.
What is desirable:
The oil has not yet hardened when your furniture is delivered.
It will take about three weeks.
In those weeks you must be alert to moisture.
So immediately remove circles with a dry cloth.
Obviously, this depends on circumstances such as air humidity.
In addition, oil on pressed bamboo takes longer to harden than
traditional solid bamboo.
What is undesirable:
Do not put non-breathable clothes such as tarpaulin on the table.
Oil still breathes for a long time.
When the leaf is closed, sweat stains appear,
especially if there are hot drinks on it.
You should always be vigilant with acids such as baby food,
vinegar, and wines.
This does not only apply to oil-finished surfaces.
After three weeks, you may start with a wet cloth more often.
What we do recommend is to use soap from Rubio Monocoat.
This keeps the oil layer intact and applies an extra protective layer.
Naturally, maintenance is highly dependent on how a table is used.
If you do not have children, dry cloth is usually enough.
Do not wait too long for wine and acids to decrease, the more it,
can absorb the more difficult it becomes to remove the stain.

The table is doing really fine.
That oil truly is miracle stuff.
Whatever we spill on it: coffee, wine, grease, etc.: we'll wipe off the table with water and Glassex or something like that.
Firs a stain/ dark spot will appear, but after a while, it will disappear.
The table still looks brand new.
It's a good idea to sell the oil separately.
In due time our table will probably need another layer. I'll come visit you when that's the case.
